Roasted to highlight clarity, acidity and the coffee's delicate flavour characteristics. Recommended for pour-over, batch brew, AeroPress and other filter methods.

Omni Roast
A versatile roast designed to work well across multiple brewing methods. Enjoy it as espresso or filter while maintaining a balanced expression of the coffee.

Espresso
Developed for espresso brewing, with greater body, sweetness and intensity. Ideal for espresso machines and milk-based drinks.

Roast development may vary slightly depending on the characteristics of each coffee.

Note:

Our weight and price are all for “GREEN BEANS”. The weight of beans decreases by roughly 10-20% when they roasted. It depends on the kind of bean. Please note that the weight reduction will affect the exact weight of your order.

Karimikui is a prominent washing station, or "factory," operated by the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society, which was established in 1997.

The station is named after a local tree species found in the area. It serves approximately 600 small-scale farmers in the Ngariama sublocation who cultivate coffee on the fertile, deep red volcanic slopes of Mt. Kenya.

These farmers typically manage diverse plots, growing bananas, maize, and shade trees like Macadamia and Grevillea alongside their coffee to maintain a balanced ecosystem.

Through the Rungeto cooperative, members benefit from social welfare programs and a credit scheme for farm inputs and education.
