Tasting Note:
Aromas of rich molasses and toasted nuts. Flavors of dark Ghanaian chocolate, warming spices, and molasses, with underlying notes of black tea. Mild acidity and a medium, coating mouthfeel.
Story: In Uganda, many smallholder coffee farmers face challenges like low yields and limited market access. In 2023, Kawacom Uganda Ltd and USAID launched the Uganda Smallholder Farmer Livelihoods Initiative to address these issues.
The project supported over 10,800 farmers, helping them achieve Organic and Rainforest Alliance certifications, improve coffee quality, increase exports, and adopt sustainable farming practices.
